We installed a micro-hydro system on Willow Creek to energize the Vagabond Ranch, solar thermal heated the main residence and two guest homes, as well as the swimming pool. Integrating it with Solar PV trackers and a battery storage system allowed the Vagabond Ranch to run completely off grid.
We also slayed an incredible load to take the Sun Valley Ranch’s half a million dollar a year propane bills down to nothing, primarily with a micro-hydro system and solar thermal system. For more images of our Sun Valley project, see Our Work.
